WW2 Pop-Up Workshops 

Join CB Performing Arts for a series of fun, interactive 20 minute WW2-themed workshops taking place in the reconstructed Town in Time street at the Dorman Museum.

Perfect for families of all ages, drop in throughout the day and experience storytelling, music, dance and traditional street games inspired by the 1940s.

10.30am and 1.30pm – WW2 Storytelling

Listen to family-friendly tales from the trenches inspired by life during the Second World War, including stories of evacuees, courage and adventure.

11am and 2pm – WW2 Dance

Step back into the 1940s and learn moves from the Lindy Hop, Jitterbug and Boogie Woogie.

11.30am and 2.30pm – WW2 Sing-Along

Pack up your troubles and join us for a selection of much loved wartime songs and 1940s classics, ending with We’ll Meet Again.

12pm and 3pm – WW2 Street Games

Have a go at classic community neighbourhood games from the 1940s, including hopscotch, Grandma’s Footsteps, Pick-Up Sticks and more
